Brenna Hicks in the NYTimes and on CNN

A lot happened during this Thanksgiving week!

First, New York Times author Alex Williams referenced a May 2007 blog post that Brenna wrote entitled Raising Kids: Wisdom from The Dog Whisperer. This reference resulted in over 600 visits to thekidcounselor.com in just two days! You can read that NYTimes.com article here: Becoming the Alpha Dog in Your Own Home.

As a result of that NYTimes article, CNN decided to run a piggy-back story on the same topic, and Brenna got a call on Friday from CNN, asking her to appear live on CNN for an interview! So on Saturday afternoon, Brenna went to CNN affiliate studio WEDU and was interviewed via satellite by anchor Fredricka Whitfield live on CNN. We are very grateful to the New York Times and CNN for the opportunity and publicity. We are thankful that these media organizations are interested in promoting healthy families and parenting tips. This perfectly aligns with Brenna’s goals to expose parents across the country to Play Therapy techniques to create healthy, happy families.
